Divine Dreams Planning was founded by Sonia, a Gorham, ME–based event planner dedicated to creating celebrations that feel deeply personal, beautifully intentional, and completely stress‑free. Since 2022, Sonia has been thoughtfully curating weddings and events with a calm, detail‑driven approach that allows couples to feel supported, understood, and truly celebrated.
With a background as unique as her planning style, Sonia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in International Studies and Chemistry, blending analytical thinking with creative problem‑solving. Her experience as a licensed Esthetician, CNA, and CPR‑certified professional brings an added layer of care, steadiness, and professionalism to every event she touches.
Event planning has been part of her life since 2016, beginning with family and friends before evolving into a full‑time passion and profession. Today, Divine Dreams Planning serves couples throughout Maine and beyond, offering curated experiences for everything from elegant weddings to intimate gatherings. Sonia is currently booking for 2026 and 2027 and is available for travel.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Sonia welcomes every couple with open arms. Inclusivity is at the heart of her work — everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated.
